Community and Growth Manager

t3rn is a platform developed to offer a unique and innovative answer to full smart contract interoperability while honing an ecosystem that rewards the developers that participate, rather than miners and validators.

The t3rn protocol renders smart contracts blockchain agnostic, meaning they can instantly execute on multiple blockchains. Smart contracts can be uploaded as they are and t3rn will host and securely execute them across independent blockchains, breaking the barrier to serving users across industries and blockchain platforms. Executed smart contracts are stored in t3rn’s decentralised repository and can be used by anyone, either for free or on a pay-per-use model that rewards the developer.‍

t3rn brings full smart contract interoperability and composable collaboration to the Polkadot ecosystem and beyond.

We are a lean team with a flat organization. As part of the Community Team, you will work closely together with the core team members in Berlin and other remote locations. We are open to remote applications.

Responsibilities

• Organising campaigns for community growth and engagement
• Supporting and executing broader marketing, community and growth initiatives
• Developing and implementing a t3rn Ambassador program
• Moderating the Telegram channel, keeping it clean, free of spam and proactively managing for channel growth
• Assisting the t3rn community with meetups and other community-organised events
• Providing data-driven insights and feedback to management and team members

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in community management and/or marketing
• Comprehensive understanding of the crypto/blockchain space
• Knowledge and experience of community building and/or open source community building
• Ability to introduce and moderate best practices or frameworks for community development and growth
• Experience with community chat platforms, related tools and integrations (Telegram, Discord, Reddit)
• Experience leading community initiatives like AMAs, ambassador programs, advocacy programs, etc.
• Ability to quickly learn and teach new technologies and frameworks
• Native level English is a must, other languages are a plus

A Plus

• Bachelors and/or Marketing degree
• Startup experience
• Practical experience of working with the crypto / decentralized technology space, and open source, privacy-minded communities
