About the role:

As part of the Product Marketing team and reporting to the VP Global Product and Revenue Marketing, this role is key in strengthening the close collaboration between the product and product marketing organizations at Uberall. As the joint owner of the product GTM process, he/she will be instrumental in working hand in hand with all the key stakeholders throughout the product innovation process, from pre-ideation to post-launch and customer feedback analysis.

As an instrumental part of the product GTM team, they will be working closely with the product team on defining and refining the commercial aspects of the product strategy as well as being the key go-to-person during the product Beta phase - ensuring product readiness and product-market fit before launch/release.

Using a combination of market insights and customer feedback throughout various stages of product innovation, the Product Marketing Manager carves out valuable use cases for our products and develops messaging, positioning and value propositions that best address our customer needs across different verticals & segments.

A key area for this role will be the creation and management of a Customer Innovation Partner Program - a pool of large and mid-market Enterprise, SMB and reseller/partner customers who he/she will develop a close relationship with and call upon to test new products. This role will work closely with our Customer Success, Product and Product Marketing teams to select the customers as part of the Customer Innovation Partner Program.

For this role, we are looking for a hands on, experienced senior product marketer with a strong background in tech and an understanding of the Alpha-Beta-GTM process.

Uberall is a fast moving, entrepreneurial tech startup environment, it is expected that at any point in time the person in this role may have 2-4 products in different stages of the GTM process, and is handling them as required.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Using data, identifying potential market opportunity & developing a business case for our upcoming products in close collaboration with the product team
  • Management of Alpha to Beta stage product testing in close collaboration with the product team
  • Aligning with the Product team on the MVP core concept, proposition and potential market fit for each MVP
  • Creating a clear set of concrete product use cases (ideally per segment & persona) for the new product based on the beta phase to help inform and empower product marketing & GTM efforts
  • Developing product messaging, positioning, and pricing based on customer feedback
  • Based on real customer examples, empowering CS & Sales teams to understand key features & functionalities of the product and their applications to specific use cases
  • Working with Product to understand customer user behaviour
  • Aligning with MVP Product owners on the timelines for testing/feasibility and the agreed outputs to determine a successful Beta phase
  • Coordinating with Product, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to close each MVP Beta phase, and preparing for the release phase.

Requirements and Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Marketing - previous product management, B2B, and strategy consulting preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree - degree in business/engineering, MBA strongly preferred
  • Strategic and conceptual thinking abilities as well as strong understanding of technical topics
  • Strongly data driven & ability to draw key insights from data
  • Ability to understand business and customer marketing requirements of Enterprise and SMB customers
  • Ability to build relationships with mid-level managers through to C-suite (CMO/CIO/CTO)
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • Experienced user in analytical & reporting tools
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to support multiple projects
  • Previous experience in solutions engineering or customer success a plus
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication and relationship skills
  • Fluent in English, conversational/business language in French or German is essential as this role will be working with a number of German and French customers
  • This role can be a remote/work from home (in European time zone) position or based in our Berlin, London, Paris or Amsterdam offices.
