Sezzle is a cutting-edge fintech company whose mission is to financially empower young consumers. Only one in three millennials own a credit card, and the vast majority of millennials possess a bad credit score or no score at all. To address these problems, Sezzle has built a payment platform that increases purchasing power for consumers by offering interest-free installment plans at online stores. This increase in purchasing power for consumers leads to increased sales and basket sizes for the thousands of eCommerce merchants that currently work with Sezzle.


You will be responsible for leading and executing marketing campaigns while delivering against strategic goals focused on building brand awareness, nurturing customer relationships, and driving demand creation. As the Marketing Manager at Sezzle you will coordinate, plan and manage marketing campaigns, collaborating cross-functionally with other Sezzle teams such as Strategic Partnerships, Sales, Merchant Success and Product.

  • Driving demand generation and conversion goals through marketing campaign design and execution
  • Partnering with Sezzle retailers on marketing and Co-Branding efforts to acquire new customers
  • Increase customer lifetime value by setting up and executing cross channel campaigns
  • Translating business needs & objectives into clear user requirements to assist in developing customer personas, journeys and digital experiences that achieve business goals
  • Proactively inform stakeholders through clear documentation (e.g. timelines, one-pagers, status updates etc.)
  • Defining, communicating, and achieving KPIs and results for campaigns.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in marketing or related field
  • Experience in financial tech marketing, agency, and/or retail (preferred)
  • A proven track record of campaign development with measurement tracking
  • Experience with web content, social, and email marketing systems and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter with experience building and executing strategies from the ground up
  • Experience in design or content creation, respectively, is a big plus
  • Proven ability to provide the highest level of service to all internal and external clients
  • History of demonstrated success working in a very fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple initiatives while meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and interact with all levels of management
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in German and English. French, Spanish or Polish are a plus
